LORENZO SCOTT - Allstar Director - Lorenzo was born and raised in Columbus, GA and cheered 4 years for the Columbus State University Cougars. He has been a professional coach for over 20 years. In 2015, he coached the GHSA 6A state winning Johns Creek HS Varsity Co-Ed team. Currently, he coaches levels 1, 2, & 5, in addition to choreography around the state. His specialties include tumbling execution and stunt technique. Lorenzo’s cheer accolades include 3 years as a Head Instructor for NCA, 4-year staff member for NCA, a certified GHSA judge, a Varsity certified judge since 2006. Lorenzo is certified in USASF levels 1-5. He enjoys spending time with his family while raising his 10 year old son Braxton and their new daughter Emerson.
PATRICK WRIGHT - Team Coach - Patrick has been in the cheerleading industry for 17 years. He started his coaching career in 2004 at Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama. In 2010, Patrick moved to Northgate High School in Newnan, GA, after capturing 4 state titles, he now judges for the GHSA. Over the past 17 years of coaching, Patrick has won numerous State, National, and Summit titles. Patrick has been a integral part of all-star programs in the Atlanta area where he has coached levels 1-6. Patrick is a nationally high school and all-star certified judge. Patrick has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. When Patrick is not working, he spends his time raising his six year old son Braxton and new daughter Emerson. Patrick's eye for execution and cleaning is great addition to the Georgia staff! Patrick currently coaches level 3.
MAKENNA JENNINGS - Team Coach - MaKenna began her cheerleading career at the early age of 4 in Ohio with the Eastland Vikings where she also became a junior coach at just age 13. Her first time competing at Worlds was on a Full Paid Bid with Step One Allstars. Her experience also includes coaching Mystiq All Stars in Ohio whom placed 5th at the 2015 Summit with only 7 athletes! After relocation to Atlanta in 2015 she joined our purple family with flying colors! Here spunky personality is a fan favorite with every athlete she touches. Highly decorated in Levels 2 & 3, Makenna excels with our Junior Program. Her amazing personality and attention to team aspect makes her a great asset to our family! With numerous national titles under her belt she’s a fan favorite!
ZAC NIXON - Tumbling Instructor - Zac comes to us from the great state of Ohio! He cheered for Ohio State and instructed camps all across the country. Zac worked for the AmeriCheer brand for 10 years where he managed camps and was a international training instructor. His coaching passion lead him internationally to Dublin, Ireland where he taught camps for the Dublin Thunders. With 20 years of experience in camps, tumbling, instruction, judging, and emceeing events; we welcome him to our staff. Zac is a great addition where he focuses on drills and exercises to build confidence and technique in our athletes. His eye for detail and execution makes him a great coach.
"JD" HAMILTON - Team Coach - JD began her cheer career at age 8; with sideline cheer after moving to Georgia from South Carolina. At the age of 10, she started her first competitive cheer program. JD joined Georgia Allstars at age 12; where she became “JD” (John Deere) by her coaches because of her aggressive tumbling technique. With many championship accolades under her belt including NCA, Cheersport, and competing Level 6 from Jr Coed through the International Division; she has performed and won on numerous stages. She continued her coaching path at gyms around the Atlanta area. JD says:"My favorite part about being a coach is knowing you are guiding and molding the future athletes in this industry and making sure they know they are loved, supported, and protected above all else. I am the coach that is so proud of my kids; that I am going to yell and scream at the top of my lungs so they know that I am their biggest fan. It’s so humbling to be not only a Georgia Allstar Alumni, but to get to return as a coach is amazing." We are excited to welcome this JD back in the purple family! Welcome Home!
